Dick Van Dyke is still going strong at Age 96. I’ve written about him several times over the past half decade as he continues his fitness routine and active lifestyle — an active lifestyle that can be a lesson for all of us.
My wife, Edie, noticed a picture of him at age 96 which seems to be floating around on Facebook. I wondered if I could find something new to write about such an inspirational Senior, and instead came up with these two videos which pretty much sum up the benefits of physical movement and an enthusiastic attitude about life. The videos express the personal energy one can have, even at age 96.
Dick Van Dyke demonstrates why he make such a great example of what an active Senior can look and be like in their mid-90s when they remain active.

These two videos pretty much sum it up. Will we all be like this? Of course not. But we can still be more active as we get older by incorporating more physical movement into our lives. I re-awakened at age 70 and am still active at age 82. I hope I can be as active with as much Personal Energy as Dick Van Dyke in 14 more years when I am 96. Rarely is it too late to start moving your body. Go for it!
