Do you want to feel ageless? Do you want an antidote to Aging? Well, it’s all about Personal Energy — YOURS! The more personal energy you have, the more alive you feel.
Your body creates energy. Your body takes in Oxygen, food, sunshine, water and converts it to energy in your cells. You use that energy to live your life. I repeat: The more personal energy you have, the more alive you feel.
To understand how the body creates energy and to use that knowledge to keep your body young are among the most powerful bits of knowledge you can own. I hope these blog posts help.
As I have written about in the past and will continue to write about in the future, you feed energy into your body through physical movement, the way your body recovers from that movement, the quality of the food you consume, the way you breathe, and the quality of the rest and sleep you get. These are the main factors that provide the energy your body needs to function well. Your attitude and mindset contribute too.
As you get older, your body’s needs will change. At a certain age range, your muscles begin to deteriorate, you tend to breathe less deeply providing less oxygen, your joints stiffen and you start becoming the “Tin Man or Woman” with rusty hinges that creak and squeak at every move you make. You begin to develop other significant negative physical changes as well.
There are lots of things you can do to stay “Ageless”. I don’t mean that you will ever be as active as a 20 year old again but I do believe that you can feel relatively youthful and stay mentally sharp if you do those things that you can do to counteract the aging process.
These articles are not about supplements or biohacking. I’ve modified my opinion on some of that. I’ll write about that in a future article. There is no medical advice involved; I’m neither qualified nor allowed to give it. But it is about being aware that you don’t have to get “old” if you feed your body with energy producing activities and natural fuel. I will suggest that there is a lot of new science coming out about aging. Much of it is about the reasons behind what we have already been doing for decades, and in some cases centuries.
Most men and women don’t notice these changes that occur as you slowly age, but at some point the realization pops up that you don’t function as well as you used to. Some of you will do something about it and others will look at it as a natural part of the aging process and let it continue to happen.
There is a pathway to living and longer. I started down that pathway at age 69 and have continued it to this day. It will differ slightly for everyone but there are basic ingredients that apply to all. I have experimented, studied, observed and interviewed, and know that you don’t have to follow the herd when it comes to getting older. You can feel ageless. I feel as energetic today at age 82 as I did at 50. Not 20, but 50. You can too. Let these posts help guide you down that path.
