This coming Sunday is the beginning of a brand NEW YEAR — 2023. It can truly be a year of promise and hope for those in their 60s and up.
We can do the things we need to do to take care of our health, build our personal energy to have the capacity to do the things we want to do as Seniors, and have enough energy left over to fully enjoy our down time.
What are those things we need to do? We all know what they are. We just need to do them. That’s the promise I want you to make to yourself — and keep: That you will DO those things.
Promise yourself that you will get the physical movement and exercise you need to stay strong and limber. Promise to eat the nutrient dense foods that will keep you lean and healthy, and to stay away from those foods that will make you susceptible to illness and loss of energy. Promise yourself to get plenty of rest and sleep to keep you awake, alert and alive as you go through your daily activities. And promise yourself to keep a positive attitude and mindset in all the things you do and with the people you interact with.
Promise to do all of the above is so that you can live your lives with love, joy, meaning and purpose, and with the personal energy you need to make it happen and keep it happening for you and those around you.
So, as the new year approaches, let us all promise ourselves to begin, or to continue a regimen that will give us the energy to do all of the above and allow us to remain in the Flow of Life that and keep our chronological age irrelevant.
Keep that promise to yourself not just for the beginning of the year, not just for all of next year, but for the rest of your life.
A Goal for 2023: For you and I to be in the forefront of a movement to create a new stereotype for Seniors, so that we come across as Awake, Alert, Active and Fully Alive! I promise to create a SeniorFlow Experience that will make it happen for those who want it to. Promise yourself to do those things that will make it happen for you too.
Thank you for reading this SeniorFlow Moment. May you have a Happy and Healthy New Year.
